The Marketing Committee of EODA was pleased to lead the charge on the Forbes project. Eleven EODA member counties joined in participating in the ad. Thanks to members in Belmont, Carroll, Columbiana, Coshocton, Guernsey, Harrison, Jefferson, Monroe, Morgan, Noble, and Tuscarawas counties for helping get EODA in to Forbes. Thanks also to the Governor's Office of Appalachia, the Appalachian Workforce Marketing Initiative, and the First Frontier Fund for grants and assitance to make this project possible. Amazingly, EODA's total cost will be less than $1,000!

The ad was designed by Weaver Media in Steubenville. The ad will be 7"x10" in Forbes in full color. [Note: The resolution here on-line is very low. The final product in magazine print will be the highest quality.]

It is intended to convey an image consistent with the strengths of Eastern Ohio--superior logistics and a skilled workforce. As with any ads in a national publication, the best idea was to focus on visuals that compel the reader to take interest and to follow up. The ad is intended to capitalize on the message that is contained in the Forbes supplement Southeast Ohio: Appalachia on the Move.
